About Us

American Mobility Transport (AMT) is a family owned non-emergency medical transportation provider based in Matthews, NC.

AMT began in April of 2014.  We volunteered for Meals on Wheels and delivered many hot meals to people.  We then began to transport seniors to hospitals, medical clinics, shopping, etc.  ​ 

American Mobility Transport is certified with 

Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department, PVH

All drivers are drug tested and background checked.

Our vehicles meet all Federal, State and local requirements needed to transport wheelchair and ambulatory patients to and from their medical appointments. 

​AMT is fully licensed and insured for $1.5 million.

As our communities continue to feel the increased impact of Coronavirus, we feel it is important to share with you what we are doing to help keep people safe and healthy.

American Mobility Transport have heightened our cleaning and disinfecting procedures to maintain a healthy environment for our Clients and Employees.  Our drivers ware a mask and gloves.  We disinfect our vans and wheelchairs after every transport.
